Licensing

Lease or buy. That’s the whole choice.

Every vocal, hook, lyric and MIDI melody has the same two licenses. The fee is on the product. Nothing is owed later.

Lease

Non-exclusive

  • Other producers can license the same item.
  • Commercial release is allowed, including streaming and client work.
  • No royalties after the one-time fee.
  • Credit the vocalist or writer, and Voclala.
  • You can’t resell the raw files or claim you own them outright.

Buy exclusive

It’s yours alone

  • You are the only new licensee.
  • The item comes off the store, including a voice and the hooks that ship with it.
  • Earlier leases stay valid for the people who already bought them.
  • Credit is optional.
  • Use it in records, ads, film and brand work. Don’t resell the raw files as a pack.

A voice lease or exclusive also drops that voice’s sample hooks into your library. Buying one hook does not license the whole voice.
